Mercy Med Flight Benefit

Runnin On Faith will be in concert with “The Stamps Quartet” at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church on Sunday Feb. 20^th at 6:00 p.m.  This is a benefit concert for Mercy Med Flight, the nation’s only charitable air ambulance service.  In addition to the internationally know Stamps Quartet, Runnin On Faith will be joined by Marianne Oglesby and Tim Mc Cracken Jr. (well known in the North Texas and surrounding areas for his portrayal of Elvis Presley).  This is a FREE concert and a love offering will be taken for Mercy Med Flight.

Misconception

Before I had the privilege and honor to book and promote Runnin' on Faith, I too had a misconception. 

The misconception that our small church in Van Alstyne could not afford a gospel quartet.  I even knew Curt Pool, one of the ROF boys! 

I thought:

"Our church is too small"

"Our church couldn't afford this group"

"Our church doesn't have a large enough congregation"

Runnin' on Faith means just that.  Curt, Kevin, Ken and Forest.....Run on Faith.  Faith that God will provide.  Guess what? He has and He does.  Runnin' on Faith, as does many other groups and soloists, will come on a love offering basis. 

Matthew 18:20 says " For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

Curt says since there is four in their quartet, their good to go!

Now you and I both know........we should all RUN ON FAITH.
